In a statement, the Greater Vancouver Regional District Employees’ Union (GVRDEU) said each extracurricular workers astatine Metro Vancouver will locomotion disconnected their jobs connected June 15 and only workers needed to support basal work levels will remain.

“Our members are angry and disappointment that aft 17 months without a contract, Metro Vancouver guidance proceed to disregard the concerns of the frontline workers who present important services crossed the region,” said Jesse Medeiros, president of the GVRDEU.
