Louisiana has suspended its upcoming primaries for the U.S. House, pursuing Wednesday's U.S. Supreme Court ruling that the state's legislature representation is an "unconstitutional group gerrymander."

The remainder of Louisiana's primaries, including for U.S. Senate, will proceed arsenic scheduled, pinch early voting starting Saturday and the superior day group for May 16.
